Our Fundamental Beliefs

The Seventh-day Adventist Church embraces 28 core beliefs, grouped into six key themes. These beliefs guide our faith, life, worship, and mission. Each theme offers a deeper understanding of our spiritual journey, and we invite you to explore them to discover how they shape who we are and how we live. The Holy Scriptures – God’s inspired Word, revealing His will and our hope.

The Trinity – One God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father – The Creator, Sustainer, and Source of perfect love.

The Son – Jesus Christ—God with us, our Savior and example.

The Holy Spirit – God’s presence with us—guiding, empowering, and transforming.

Creation – God made us in His image, for relationship and stewardship.

The Nature of Humanity – Though fallen through sin, we are still deeply loved and redeemable.

The Great Controversy – The cosmic conflict between good and evil, with Christ victorious.

The Life, Death, and Resurrection of Christ – Jesus’ sacrifice is the heart of our salvation.

The Experience of Salvation – By grace through faith, we’re forgiven and transformed.

Growing in Christ – A daily walk of victory over sin, by His power.

The Church – God’s global family—gathered for worship, mission, and love.

The Remnant and Its Mission – A movement proclaiming the everlasting gospel to the world.

Unity in the Body of Christ – Oneness in Christ, across nations and cultures.

Baptism – A public act of faith—dying to self, rising in Christ.

The Lord’s Supper – A memorial of Jesus’ sacrifice and future return.

Spiritual Gifts and Ministries – Every believer is empowered to serve.

The Gift of Prophecy – A special voice to guide God’s people.

The Law of God – The moral compass—revealing God’s will and character.

The Sabbath – A sacred day of rest, renewal, and worship.

Stewardship – Honoring God with our time, talents, and treasure.

Christian Behavior – Our lifestyle reflects our relationship with Christ.

Marriage and the Family – God’s design for love, nurture, and spiritual growth.

Christ’s Ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary – Jesus intercedes for us now as High Priest.

The Second Coming of Christ – Our blessed hope—Jesus will return in glory.
