Anchored in Christ, Sailing with Purpose
Empowering seafarers with faith, fellowship, and mission wherever their journey takes them.
Our Mission in Seafarer Ministry
AMiS exists to support, equip, and uplift seafarers and maritime professionals with the love of Christ. We aim to nurture their spiritual growth, strengthen their faith, and empower them to serve as ambassadors of hope—both onboard and ashore. Through community, discipleship, and outreach, we help seafarers remain spiritually connected no matter where the tides of life lead them.

Faith in Action, Mission in Motion
Through worship, outreach, and holistic care, AMiS empowers seafarers to grow spiritually and serve faithfully—wherever they are.

Highlights

1st Inaugural Gathering – AMiS Iloilo Chapter
The AMiS Iloilo Chapter held its very first inaugural gathering at Iloilo Central Church—a joyful celebration that marked the beginning of a dedicated ministry for seafarers and maritime professionals in the region. This special event brought together seafarers, church leaders, and supporters to worship, connect, and strengthen their shared mission of serving Christ at sea and ashore.

Japanese Ship Visit
During an internal audit visit to a vessel in Japan, a former seafarer, now serving as an Insurance Superintendent, took time to share gospel booklets and pray with the crew. A meaningful moment of faith in action, reminding seafarers of the true Captain of their lives: Jesus Christ.

Medical Mission
Held on August 10, 2024, at Mariner’s Home Annex 1 in Intramuros, Manila, this outreach provided free blood pressure and blood sugar testing, health counseling, prayer, and the distribution of food packs and gospel tracts. It was a day dedicated to supporting the physical and spiritual well-being of our seafarers.
